Description: Bobcat is the smallest common wild cat in the U.S., but it carries a lot of strength in its compact frame. This tail is eco-friendly--it was reclaimed from being a fur industry discard, and instead of going into an incinerator or landfill, it's become part of my art! And, as has been my practice for over a decade, part of the money will go to a nonprofit group that benefits wildlife and their habitats.

The strong, braided belt loop is both attractive and practical. It's more organic looking than a plain old keychain, it won't damage and tear through the leather of the tail like a ball chain, and it won't snap like a single strap of leather. The design also reflects braiding as a distinctive part of my style as an artist, and the leather is repurposed from old leather clothing as part of my commitment to sustainability. The belt loop may be used with any belt, though I am open to creating one to go with it for a small additional fee.

The majority of my supplies are from secondhand sources, such as old fur and leather coats, or beads from old jewelry. Everything made with animal parts is given a full ritual purification according to my spiritual path. A portion of the proceeds is donated to nonprofit organizations that benefit wildlife and their habitats.
