Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic was my first published book in 2006–but certainly not my last! It was the result of nearly a decade of intense study and practice of animal magics of all sorts. Now this updated and annotated edition collects the original material with additional commentary and up-to-date terminology.

This isn’t your average book on the topic, though. I wanted to provide spiritual and magical practitioners, regardless of background, with a guidebook to incorporating animal magic into their practice. I consider it to be a sort of “animal magic potpourri”. Not only does Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone delve into the usual realms of animal spirits and familiars, creating animal-based entities and shapeshifting, but also the use of animal parts in magic and a (highly disclaimered) chapter on animal sacrifice. Look for other odds and ends like cryptozoology, pop culture influences, and therianthropy, among much more! Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone fills in the blanks in the realm of animal magic! (Not recommended for domesticated pagans.)

Please note that the page count of the new edition is less than the original edition. This is because, as a way to cut down on paper waste, I completely overhauled the interior layout to be more efficient. The material is still there, just in a more compact form!
